I’m a certified Food & Nutrition Educator (Japan) the founder of Atsumi’s Nourishing Kitchen, where I share Japanese-inspired recipes that nourish your body and support your health. I believe food is more than just fuel—it’s the foundation of a vibrant, fulfilling life.
My journey into nutrition started from a deeply personal place. When my son was little, I worried constantly about whether he was getting the right nutrients. His growth seemed slower than expected, and his skin sometimes looked pale. I felt lost, overwhelmed by the flood of nutrition advice online, and unsure of what truly worked.
That’s when I knew I needed to take control. I dove into research, studied food and nutrition deeply, and became a Certified Food & Nutrition Educator in Japan. The more I learned, the clearer it became: we are what our body takes in. Giving my son the right foods didn’t just help him thrive—it transformed our whole family’s well-being. We had more energy, better gut health, clearer skin, and a newfound sense of balance.
